Hello, my name is Kyle Jackson. I am currently a senior at Iona College studying to get my bachelors in Psychology. I plan on getting my MA in Social Work and plan on working in a school setting to help shape the next generation. Ive always been interested in the human mind and behaviors, as well as the common question of why humans interact the way we do various situations. I believe stepping into this field as an African American is extremely beneficial for kids who have gone through similar life experiences and have no outing. This field has helped me gain a lot of insight on the dynamics of human behavior and I believe the roles of Counselors are a pivotal role in society as well as in understanding of ourselves.
