Deputised Operations Manager and responsible for two teams (i.e. Administration and Fund Accounting)Teams consists of 11 professionals making up the Apex-Mowbray Team. We have a client base of 24 individual funds and a AUA of R10 billion.The role is to ensure the smooth BAU of the team, timeosly meeting SLA deadlines and the submission of Month-End and Quarterly reporting. Oversight for the drafting of annual financial statements and annual liason between the Private Equity Team and the respective auditors.Team house-keeping and HR matters are allocated under my portfolio to be addressed where applicable.

- Exco: Finance, HR & SystemsDuties: Manage a team of three individuals and run the full accounting and payroll / HR function. From an HR stance, this includes all contractual staffing contract, salary run, legislative payments to SARS, retrenchments, UIF-TERS claims, etc. Finance is broken down into month end reporting, VAT submissions and audit liaison. For systems I provide Pastel training to the team relating to creditor and debtor ageing and how to better utilise excel functionality. This role further runs with the maintenance and upkeep of the Pastel platform.

I provide ad hoc training to the team relating to financial principals / concepts and how to better utilise excel functionality. Prepare the individual and consolidated reporting of four individual companies and I report directly to the Head of Finance andManaging Director.

Client Implementation – Private Equity and Real EstateDuties: Manage, administer and review the on-boarding process of new clients and the take-on of new funds for existing clients. Act as the liaison between other internal departments to draft all relevant legal and compliance documentation together with drafting the service level agreements. Setting upquarterly client service meeting in order to confirm and review the level of service being provided by the Maitland PERE team. Manage a team of ten staff members and their timesheets for efficiencies. I monitor and reconcile the departmental revenue, budgets and forecasting together with initiating theprocess of pricing for new on-boarding clients. Specialise in automated NAV files by way of excel macros and act as an Investran system support specialist.
