About Kyle Libby

Kyle Libby is the Head of Research for Metrea. He works on the Strategy team to inform decision-making through pathfinding research, modeling and simulation, and quantitative analysis of the most challenging problems in national security.Prior to joining Metrea, Mr. Libby was an Operations Research Analyst with Group W, assigned to the Pentagon in the Joint Staff, J8 Warfighting Analysis Division. He was responsible for the development and analysis of advanced mission modeling and simulation representations to support the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Combatant Commands, and NATO allies. During his time there, he focused on the operational analysis of electronic warfare employment, Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS), and the development of force structure Net Assessments.Before the Joint Staff, Mr. Libby worked at Headquarters Air Force A5/7 and Studies and Analysis offices, supporting ISR Integration and Suppression/Destruction of Enemy Air Defense (SEAD/DEAD) analysis.Prior to the Pentagon, Mr. Libby worked at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Studies (CSBA). While at CSBA, Mr. Libby presented on future military capabilities at the Military Operations Research Society Symposium and Emerging Techniques Forum.He has co-chaired the Space Acquisitions, Testing, and Operations working group for MORS Symposiums since 2019.
