I am a professional auditor with just under 3 years of experience in the Federal Accounting sector. I have been part of a very large audit that has given me exposure and experience in many different areas of the audit including financial reporting, universe of transactions (UoT) and data analytics, Property, Plant, & Equipment (PP&E) asset testing, data sampling, Fund Balance with Treasury (FBWT), and several other cycles that are relevant to audits. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to be a part of the financial consulting side of the Federal Accounting Sector in providing financial reporting and FBWT consulting services to government agencies and providing advisory support as well. I may have a "short" career thus far, but I have learned a great deal and consider myself an asset as I have been able to pick up on everything very quickly and become proficient in all of the cycles I mentioned above. I am even considered the UoT subject matter expert (SME) on my team with less than 3 years of experience. My quality of work speaks much louder than my quantity and/or years of experience.
