• Primary duties include:
• Work with a team of engineers to design, test, and build new hose assemblies. New hoses must go through pressure, flow, stretch, elongation, and controlled burst tests.
• Use Solidedge software to design hose fittings, ferrules, valves, and end connections.
• Analyze customer returned hoses for causes of failure.
• Inspect hoses in post-production for defects such as overall length, strain, and ferrule diameter.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming parts for production using precise measurement equipment.
