Once implemented into a team of five, it increased efficiency by over 70%, while improving accuracy over previous work processes. • Performed field surveys of engineering equipment onboard Navy ships, inspecting fire systems, electrical panels and other MEP systems. This required a safety briefing, PPE, and an overall field visit plan. During these field visits, by reading design documents, I evaluated the status of components, calling attention to defections. This needed strong attention to detail and mindfulness for safety.• Designed both scheduling and financial tools in Excel with VBA coding for project management. Instead of buying software, I worked with my team to create purpose-built, highly customized tools. The scheduling tool used VBA to create a clean timeline, easily readable for the client. The financial tool allowed for my manager to customize metrics to forecast budgets more confidently. Show less
