Aviation Operations Ncoic/Airborne Paratrooper
The aviation operations specialist is primarily responsible for scheduling and dispatching tactical aircraft missions. They help operate one of the largest fleets of aircraft in the world and keep them running safe and efficient. Process local and cross-country flight clearances. Check accuracy of flight plans and coordinate them. Maintain flight logs on incoming/outgoing flights and individual flight records. Alert crash crews of emergencies. Interpret and post weather reports.Paratroopers are soldiers trained in parachuting and generally operate as part of an airborne force. They are used for tactical advantage as they can be inserted into the battlefield from the air, thereby allowing them to be positioned in areas not accessible by land. It is one of the three types of "forced entry" strategic techniques for entering a theater of war; the other two are by land and sea. This ability to enter the battle from different locations allows paratroopers to evade fortifications that are in place to prevent attack from a specific direction, and the possible use of paratroopers forces an army to spread their defenses to protect other areas which would otherwise be safe by virtue of the geography. Another common use for paratroopers is to establish an airhead for landing other units.

Restores deleted data files as necessary. Troubleshoots common or recurring problems experienced by laptop users. Creates database inquiries to access local information stored in the ULLS-A. Assists AASF users in preparing locally designed reports. Creates, edits and saves database queries. Ensures reports accurately reflect individual aircraft status. Oversees AMSS processes for daily recording and reporting of aircraft/subsystem readiness and end-of-period reports. Serves as the Terminal Area Security Officer (TASO) with security oversight over AASF ULLS-A system components. Manages ULLS-A network security protection mechanisms. Assigns, secures, stores, and maintains user IDs, passwords and controls individual and group access to the ULLS-A system. Provides advice and recommendations for using and safeguarding ULLS-A data and resources against unauthorized disclosure, modification, access, use, destruction or denial of service. Along with serving as the administrator for the ULLS-A database, I established and am the system administrator for the aircraft notebook (ACN) program in our facility. Assistant Manager
I was responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; especially multi-user computers, such as our server. I ensured that the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers I managed met the needs of the owners without exceeding their budget. To meet these needs, I acquired, installed, or upgraded computer components and software; automate routine tasks; troubleshoot; train and/or supervised the key staff on day to day use of the server and computer systems; and provided technical support daily for the owners and managers of the company. I was in charge of installing, supporting, and maintaining servers and other computer systems, and planning for and responding to service outages and other problems. I created our Local Area Network (LAN). I made sure that the computers in the company were all connected to each other and all Point of Sale Systems were running off of the same software. I managed installing updates on multiple point of sale systems and ensured that backups were being created as a fail safe for the computers. I ensured that we renewed our licenses for our point of sale software on time as well as renewing other key software program certificates and permissions. I helped maintain our companies website, this included making changes using HTML script and wordpress while incorporating multimedia images and videos into the website to make it appealing and user friendly. I trained the general manager and assistant general manager on how to use make minor changes to the website and back up the website before making changes. I ensured that the website had redundancies to prevent credit card fraud. This job gave me knowledge of a wide range of analytical and diagnostic methods, procedures and principles to identify system failures. I then corrected those failures to get everything running to its peak operational standards.
