Sizewell B Power Station

Under an NEC3 contract I undertook Commercial activities on site to support RO18 Outage. Responsibilities were as follows:• Manage costs flowing through the project on a daily basis.• Created, distributed, and managed early warnings and compensation events for emergent work, delays etc. to the client.• Create, update and control cost trackers for numerous projects on site communicating to various clients directly.• Developing and issuing proposals for new site projects, emergent works and delays throughout execution. Communicating with engineers where required.• Created and monitored trackers for work packages to identify delays, risks, and possible opportunities.• Managed site procurement from request for quotation through to final purchase.• Prepared and submitted applications for payment for multiple site projects.

Heysham Power Station

Seconded to EDF as an outage planner for the cooling water island during the R2 024 statutory outage. Some of my responsibilities were as follows.• Developing and delivering the level 3 schedule from initiations through to project closure.• Daily progress reporting to key stakeholders and station senior management.• Resource coordinating daily by setting priorities across multiple work groups referencing the project schedule and allocating resources accordingly.• Risk identification pre-execution and management analysis where applicable throughout execution, implementing mitigation plans to reduce risk ratings.

Hartlepool Power Station

Doosan planner as part of the R1 026 Statutory Outage. Some of my roles and responsibilities throughout the outage included.• Updated project primavera 6 plan with daily progress.• Distributed look-ahead schedules to key stakeholders.• Ensured work package readiness ie. WOC/SD/SRP were the correct status.• Provided daily reports to the client with progress and upcoming work including risks and opportunities.• Controlled emergent work and delay registers to back-up total budgets.
