I was part of a medical research team analyzing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data for physical and neurological advancements in research and clinical settings. I worked with data acquisition and analysis on different projects to better understand the neuropathology of different populations of people. I worked on functional MRI (fMRI) as it applies to the human connectome and neuropathology of viral diseases and quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) as it applies to cerebrovascular diseases and hypertensive pediatric patients. Future work will involve multiple sclerosis, vascular aging, brain tumors, and stroke.
