Airfreight Department

- Responsibilities are:1. Full import and export operations for perishable cargo.2. Responsible for framing entries for both imports and exports, liaising with the imports to check whether they have the correct import documents including import permits.3. General customs formalities4. Controlling of shipments and cargo files including but not limited to bookings the shipments, creating the necessary documentations, and arranging customs clearance.5. Daily updates to clients.6. Dealing with clients and suppliers and developing good relationships.7. Collaborating with colleagues to accomplish departmental objectives.8. Quick response to enquiries and react to client requirements.9. Attending to general administration.10. Courses completed, IATA Cargo Awareness11. Familiar with Ship Shape and have the necessary training.12. Familiarity with Perishable, General and time sensitive cargo.13. Clearing and forwarding for both import and exports.14. CargoWise knowledge

My Responsibilities are:1. Airfreight and Sea freight : full import and export operations for all shipments2. Preparing of rates and quotations including checking rates with shipping lines, transporters and airlines3. Check import requirements with authorities4. Responsible for framing entries for both sea freight and airfreight imports and exports, liaising with the importers regarding the shipments and checking the commodities and tariff headings5. General customs formalities6. Daily updates to clients, tracking of cargo and delivery of cargo7. Invoicing and costing8. Ensure accuracy of documentation for submission of cargo9. Operations for sea freight & airfreight imports and exports10. Controlling of shipments and cargo files including but not limited to booking the shipments, creating the necessary documentation and arranging customs clearance11. Dealing with clients and supplier and developing good relationships12. Working together with colleagues to accomplish departmental objectives13. Quick response to inquiries and to react on client requirements14. Attending to general administration15. Familiar with Ship Shape system16. Courses completed with Aviator Airfreight was Cargo 1 and Cargo 2

Responsibilities was:1. Liaising with clients in regard to bookings and documentation required2. Calendar management and management of the CRM system3. Administrative duties4. Issuing of invoicing and credit notes and creating quotes
