At AVS, I fill the role of anyone or everyone from the tea lady to the Managing director and have been in the same business since 2005, From grass roots cable cleaning and sorting through to management and ownership with ample time at every spot in between. I am skilled in pretty much all facets of the entertainment industry, my favourite is theatre / choreographed show lighting but I won’t shy away from mixing a live band for a show or running visuals and content from an AV perspective either.I have various qualifications and training certifications ranging from LX fixture maintenance to rigging which have allowed me to grow and share this knowledge teach many people and staff over the years.What I really love most are the industry people themselves and the concept of running a business which are all in a constant state of developement.The industry guys and girls with massively diverse cultures and skill sets and a common dose of sharp humor to share coupled to a broad range of client personalities to work with make every show truly unique.At home - I’m a father of 2 and have been married (to the same person) since 2012 making life fun but in general an illusive balance between the industry and sanity.I’m also a keen DIY’er with far more tools than time and can build and fix just about anything.Saved the best for last - my love of motorsport on 2 wheels or 4.
