In collaboration with a global contractor and the Department of Defense, I work on classified systems repairs and testing, conduct advanced network troubleshooting, and meet with military teams to assess their project goals and missions, working with them to develop and coordinate timelines. I also manage ground support and test equipment for functional flight tests of electrical and electronic systems, interpreting resulting data and diagnosing performance issues. I utilize hand and power tools to install components, assemblies, and systems; oversee connection of components to assemblies; adjust, repair, and replace malfunctioning elements; perform testing using various tools, such as circuit testers, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes; and complete off-equipment tasks on switch and circuit breaker panels and junction boxes. Notable achievements:• Deployed for multiple projects to Afghanistan, ensuring security of classified data and military assets. • Sustained 98.7% mission effectiveness rate across deployments, identifying major systemic issues and managing rollout of fixes across fleet. • Reduced costs based on manpower and loss of combat sorties through timely problem resolution. • Planned layout of installations based on technical documents, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

Hurlburt Field Florida

As the Senior Field Service Technician, I directed field service operations, including managing engineering and technical teams, planning workflow, and communicating with customers on technical issues and reports. I also oversaw design, fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft and aerospace products, as well as tracked data from testing and interpreted results, using this information to transform diagnostic solutions. In addition, I collaborated with our engineers on assessing the implications of testing data. Notable projects:• Led research and development (R&D) initiatives for a private sector leader in aviation, including inspecting and testing setups and equipment for various systems. • Selected to serve as Shift Lead for Avionics team on multiple deployments, including leading support of mission systems for U-28/PC-12 aircraft. • Coordinated calibration of systems and devices to maintain compliance with testing requirements. • Created simulated operational conditions for testing of aircraft systems, including for readiness testing and pre- and post-operational checkouts.

I served as a Staff Sergeant during my time with the USAF and also oversaw communication and navigation systems. In this role, I managed setup and operations of ground support and test equipment for functional flight testing at Hurlburt Field on AC-130u gunships. This included developing schedules, planning assignments, and coordinating activity sequences for our team based on prioritization, resource availability, and the skills of available personnel. In addition, I interpreted flight test data to identify malfunctions and systemic issues. I also conducted performance reviews and monitored work levels to ensure effectiveness and productivity across functions. Finally, I was responsible for maintaining electrical and electronic systems in adherence to QA guidelines, as well as installing and troubleshooting instruments and components. As a leader, I also counseled employees about performance challenges, professional development goals, and work-related issues. In collaboration with each team member, I created corrective action plans and training programs based on identified skills gaps.
