* Masters thesis topic is on using machine learning to predict material properties using experimental and CALPHAD databases. *Designed a supervised machine learning model with experimental data on martensite start temperature in steel using ensemble techniques from Sci-Kit learn. *Designed a metamodel using an external multithreaded computational platform with Thermo-Calc's TC-Python module to train an artificial neural network from TensorFlow's library to predict sigma phase fraction in Ni-based superalloys. *The significance of my work would contribute to the higher order interaction parameters in the thermodynamic model for martensite start temperature, and my metamodel (surrogate model) built with the ANN was 98% as accurate as the thermodynamic based simulation and over 100,000 times quicker to calculate the same amount of property data.

* Lead design engineer internship for a vertical farm start up located in Liljeholmen(Stockholm) to design automation equipment for an expansion project called a mega farm. * My role is to design/fabricate process machines for the planting, harvesting, and cleaning that would be used inside a farm that can produce 50Kg of leafy greens a day, with only 1-2 employees doing all the day-to-day tasks. • The results was design multiple moving prototypes (shown in images) using SolidWorks that would be used to apply for seed funding. A seeding machine that was fabricating by myself at a local maker space. From this work and the help of others, an excess of 1.2 million SEK and later 12.7 million SEK were eventually secured to fund the megafarm project. * The philosophy of my work is inspired by completing machines that produce only the absolute top quality greens. Broken down into 3 tiers of automation; the future of the vertical farm industry will be in the automation of all farming practices from seeding to harvest.

This job shop is a specialty shop, where low volume high complexity prototypes and or small production runs are performed. * I ran a very large lathe (15 feet long) and turned down stainless steel tubes to a tight tolerance +- 0.010 inch. Was relied upon and inspected by certified inspector and performed multiple precision measurements with different instruments used in machining. * This would require different tooling/ finishing operations, that would need to be changed out using an overhead crane and rigging techniques to fit the different tooling into place. • I solved a "chatter" issue where vibrations towards the tail on of the piece were causing the part to warp and provide noticeably inconsistent results. This required me to re-index the tailstock, adjust and flip the turning process from front to back to back to front. Immediately a better finished project came from this change and more repeatability.
