• Working with a team of 7 engineering students to design a thrust vector controlled high poweredrocket that will maintain vertical orientation during flight and reach a user inputted target apogee.• Selected a propulsion system based on mission objectives such as thrust vector control ability, project budget, and time constraints.• Simulated rocket flight in OpenRocket and verified trajectory calculations to determine a commercial off the shelf solid rocket motor that will achieve a user inputted target apogee.• Developed a motor test stand to verify manufacture performance characteristics and perform static firetesting of rocket.

• Created proposal for research topic outlining possible improved fuel delivery method from flow independent fuel injectors by implementing pintles to deflect and break-up spray.• Used Solidworks to develop CAD models of pintles that will influence flow independence.• Aided in the assembly and operation of ramjet and ramjet components used for collecting data of various test pintles under varying flow parameters to determine flow independence.• Worked with a team of 4 research students to write a MATLAB script to obtain results about the relation between spray characteristics, and pintle and flow parameters.
