Kyle Roman is a Professional Industrial Engineer with over 9 years of experience in applying continuous improvement tools in Rail Logistics. I am a data driven professional who specializes in business and data analytics, continuous improvement projects, operational support projects, and mentoring learner technicians. I began my career as an Engineer in training at Transnet Freight Rail where I supported operations to reach yearly volume targets through developing decision support tools, conducting capability studies and lastly facilitating lean and six sigma fundamental training to safety critical grades. I was successfully signed off as competent and appointed as an Industrial Engineer. My new role was to execute and manage Lean and Sigma projects on a green belt level. I presented my experience to ECSA and was certified as a professional engineer in June 2021.
