• Project managed and developed programs and experiences for Adler After Dark, an award-winning, monthly social event for adults which saw sustained growth over a 5-year period in both attendance and revenue ($25,000 in ticket sales on average, 1,500-person capacity), and Astro-Overnights, a seasonal camp-in program for elementary-age children • Coordinated, supervised, and developed numerous high-profile special events for the museum, including public lectures and panel discussions, observing events, and anniversary celebrations, and represented the museum on media outlets (TV and radio)• Initiated and maintained collaborative partnerships with a variety of non-profit, civil, and educational organizations to attract new audiences and promote the museum’s vital role in the Chicago community • Developed, trained, and evaluated guest-focused interpretive programs including science demonstrations, object facilitations, cart programs, and exhibit-based interactives for multiple audiences • Lead the conceptual and curatorial oversight for the museum’s Apollo anniversary initiatives, including the Museum of the Moon installation for Apollo 11 anniversary and updated narrative and exhibit casework for Apollo 13 anniversary (2019 & 2020)• Created, prototyped, and evaluated exhibit elements for Chicago’s Night Sky exhibit (2019)• Managed the Coordinator for Special Projects along with interns, facilitators, and volunteers in various capacities, including training, mentoring, career path coaching, and evaluative performance
