Experienced in health fitness and middle-school athletics. Skilled in Interpersonal Relations, Team Leading, and as a Training Coordinator.I am currently enrolled in the Exercise Science program at Florida Southern College as a senior. Holistic medicine is the approach that Florida Southern's Exercise Science program instills within their students where chronic diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease can be managed through exercise. Helping others through their fitness journey is one thing I strive for when working with the population. Health is wellness and bridging this gap for people through education and practical application is just another way I am able to apply my knowledge to the field.This is where I link my passion as an exercise scientist to chiropractic care. Holistic medicine is one area that needs more focus. Many people, including ourselves, look for that quick fix. Something that will take the pain or discomfort away in an instant. Pharmaceuticals have become something to lean on for many after surgery or for chronic conditions, but become counterintuitive as patients become reliant on them. Chiropractic care provides an alternative to this from the phrase, "The power that made the body, heals the body." Understanding that chiropractic care, accompanied by foundational exercises and movements from Florida Southern's program, can result in the complete efficiency of the human body and kinematics in terms of health and wellness. In the future, I plan on implementing these strategies in order to provide the best client-patient care.
