Customer Resolutions Advisor
Ridgmont, England, United Kingdom
When starting this role, initially I had to pick up various different skills due to being very new to me in regard to my previous experiences. Within this role, the primary focus was around being the final point of contact with customers who had previously made contact due to having an issue with a received product, our team was based in order to resolve this using 3 main solutions being; a technician visit to conduct a repair, a reduction in order value to an agreed upon amount or replacing the item as a whole.Due to this being the case, this meant that one of the first key skills was being able to correctly present ourselves to the customer in a polite and kind manner in order to create a calm atmosphere, this was so that a clear and concise discussion can take place to reach a resolution. To coincide with this another key skill was to be able to take in a large deal of information and make notes at once whilst communicating with the customer, this is so that anyone who picks up the case is able to understand all the key details before moving forward as well as this information also had to be passed along to suppliers in some cases in order to gain certain authorisation before moving ahead with resolving the matter.Along with needing to take in a great deal of information from the customer, another key skill was being able to manoeuvre between our different portals used as well as our main system known as “Genero” (A CRM based software) and our Outlook Email client at the same times. This is because, when contacting the customer, we had to correctly fill out security questions due to GDPR ensuring the information provided is correct and dealt with in the appropriate manner.Whilst several skills have been acquired within this role, I believe my previous experience in IT systems had enabled me to excel within that area, enabling me to present customers with the best possible experience.
