I was a tutor for middle school and high school aged kids in the Stockton area, with focus on mathematics and literature. Tutoring hours were scheduled with each student individually so I was able to take charge of my time and create a tutoring plan that worked for both of us. I hope to continue this work when I return to Stockton because I find it fun to engage with kids from the community and be able to help.

I work as an english language teacher at a middle school just outside of Chengdu. I currently have 8 classes a day with each class having 40+ students age 8-14. This position is extremely rewarding and beneficial for many reasons, however, seeing the students so excited to learn makes the job very much worth the time put in. I wish I could see this level of excitement when it comes to students in America wanting to learn.

At Arnold's Meats I took orders from all manners of customers including typical single customers, restaurants, and even colleges. My position allowed me to work with the customer to find out what exactly they needed and then either dictate another butcher to make the order or assist the customer myself. We supplied many types of meat, including: beef, pork, chicken, lamb, fish, crab, duck, turkey, and even whole animals.
