I pride myself on being a lifelong learner, always looking for the most efficient and effective process.In my current role as Programmer Analyst at Duratech Industries, I have become comfortable with all phases of the agile development process. I have independently identified processes eligible for software enhancement or automation; designing, implementing, responding to feedback from users to improve intuition and usability of deployed software.One recent project, written originally in C#, and then converted into a Node.js web application to provide a mobile solution for warehouse picking. This software paired with another I previously built, the Shipment Manager-used to verify shipment integrity and provide shipment documents and labels. The department manager estimated a 75% improvement in productivity, increasing their shipment capacity from 90 to 150 shipments per day. This deployment prevented an expected labor growth within the department, reducing costs to Duratech.
