• Performed research into Contact Mechanics of Orthopaedic Hip Implant Under Coupled Vibratory and Oscillatory Load.• Performed ANSYS workbench model from a scanned hip bone and imported a 3D designed acetabular cup to study the contact forces and ease of insertion for the acetabular cup into the hip socket.• Worked with an Orthopaedic Surgeon to meet the requirements set by his experience and practices to find a design that is both analytically and practically sound.• The medical device designed was intended to insert this acetabular cup into the hip socket to improve the current method of insertion.

• Worked in ISO 13485 and 9001 compliance platform to manufacture contact lenses.• Addressed low quality lens cuts by readjusting the Diamond height or sphericity in the x and z-coordinates on CNC lathes • Inspected contact lenses with Optimec JCF for quality assurance, base curve of radius, diameter, surface, and edge inspection.• Used Nimo interferometer to inspect power and changes in power • Operated State of the Art custom labelling machine to ensure proper batch numbers before packaging and distribution.

• Manufactured hard contact lenses, verifying tight tolerances including curvature, diameter, and thickness using calipers.• Programmed a laser engraver for contact lenses used during the fitting process, verified performance, location, and depth and recorded results.• Produced dry cut lenses on CNC production line and polished the lathe marks off the lenses, then measured using a radius gauge microscope.
