• Perform SOX testing to ensure that proper internal controls and accounting procedures are in place.• Perform month end closing responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner, including but not limited to: - Reconcile intercompany accounts with all international affiliates to ensure consolidated statements are consistent and accurate. - Profit in Inventory elimination. - Commenting on margin and expense variances between actuals and budget/forecast. - Review balance sheet reconciliations submitted by all international affiliates.• Act as the primary support to the Finance Oracle Business Analyst. Consists of the following tasks and responsibilities: - Write SQL queries for ad hoc reporting or requests. - Conduct month end close functions for the Oracle inventory module on rotating months with the Oracle BA. - Import journals from subledgers to the GL and correct any errors. - Coordinate or assist in the implementation of new affiliates to the system, including working with international colleagues to understand local reporting requirements and the Oracle setups required for compliance. - Lead or assist in any other Oracle projects that may arise from implementations or changes in our business practices.

• Ensure accounting/costing requirements are met, and the proper procedures are in place prior to the deployment of Oracle Business Suite R12 in all USS locations.• Perform testing in several test environments prior to deployment to ensure that transactions are reflected appropriately in the GL.• Work with various teams to determine solutions that are compatible with standard Oracle and to ensure that all parties involved are prepared for Go-Live.• Physically located at plant locations during Go-Live, the preceding months, and two month end close cycles after Go-Live.• Monitor accounts, transactions, financial statements, and other reports to ensure inventory is stated correctly in the GL and aid in the analysis of financial data and performance.• Develop reports and other tools that will improve financial analysis, forecasting, and efficiency via OBIEE and standard Oracle Applications.• Perform reconciliations between various Sub Ledgers and the General Ledger.• Responsible for assisting future go-live locations to determine and roll up standard costs appropriately. • Train super users from various plant locations on how to use, analyze data, and navigate within both the OPM and Discrete Oracle costing modules.
