I'm Kyle Ball, a recent alumni of the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Statistics. Born and raised in Dover, NH, making a short commute to UNH-Durham made too much sense when accepted into the University's College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. After leaving in May of 2024, I am currently looking to find a job relating more to my degree, regardless of the field. While data entry is obviously a strong point because of my degree, my academics at UNH have also led me to learning various data analysis methods in R, JMP, and Python, while simultaneously gaining valuable knowledge of coding in Python and R as well. Recently, I finished my senior capstone project: an analysis of Control-IQ technology in diabetes-related biomedical devices.Outside of academics, while at UNH I've been supremely involved in the community. As a member of the New Hampshire Gentlemen from 2019-2023, I served as Business Manager from 2020-21, Director from 2021-22, and President from 2022-23. Leading the group's effort into UNH's "603 Challenge" fundraising campaign while serving as Business Manager and President, the group gathered over $11,000 in public fundraising. Since the group's inception in 1979, I am the only member to serve all three officer positions during tenure in the group.Away from UNH, I've coached three seasons of local Special Olympics New Hampshire programs (2 seasons of basketball for the Dover Dynamite, 1 of baseball with Team Barrington). Volunteering with SONH is something I've been doing since 2017, and it's something I place a lot of personal value in for the friends and memories I have made along the way. In addition, the last week of June every summer since 2018 (aside from during the peaks of COVID), I've volunteered with Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH to put on Camp Hot Shot, a summer camp for juvenile Type 1 Diabetics in and around the seacoast NH area. As a Type 1 Diabetic myself, this is something also very personally valuable to me.For fun, I'm big into listening and playing music either on guitar, piano, or singing. I love to play basketball, but settle for watching when I'm too busy to go out and do it.
