Outside Account Executive - Ok, Tx, & Ne
Responsible for managing the relationships with our strategic commercial customers in TX, OK, & NE. Myself along with an internal account team provided essential support & service for our customers daily needs and strategic initiatives. Leading and developing our account team was an exciting, challenging, and extremely rewarding job responsibility. Outside of myself our team consisted of an internal account manager, product specialists, and regional resources that grew to 20 members. Our goal & objective was to develop customer centric solutions based solely on each individual customer/project need. We accomplished this goal QoQ, meeting & exceeding our regional team's sales objectives. Developed then executed our regional team's strategy aimed to meet & exceed our business unit goals. Our team consistently exceeded revenue & margin sales objectives every quarter while in role. In Q3 FY16 we excelled and tripled our stated sales objective. This earned me AE of the Qtr. honors honors for our entire region and ultimately AE of the Qtr. honors for the entire strategic commercial business. We more than doubled the regions original historical spend with Dell during my tenure along with growing market share in 75% of our customer base.
Regional Sales Manager - Mountain West Region Strategic Division
Managed & led 13 regional account managers responsible for our strategic commercial customers daily needs along with strategic initiatives for the Mountain West region. Every account manager was individually responsible for 40 - 80 customer accounts in their specific state/area. The region covered 6 states, (OK, CO, NM, AZ, UT, & NV), each state was broken down based on optimal coverage. The account managers were responsible for meeting their individual sales objective for that quarter. All on my account managers individual sales objectives were then rolled into one large regional objective I was personally responsible for meeting. I exceeded my sales objective every quarter while in role.
Regional Sales Manager - Mountain West Region Acquisition Division
Managed & led 15 regional account managers responsible for developing and growing business relationships within our acquisition division for the Mountain West region. Our acquisition customer base had low historical spend with us over the previous 1 - 3 years. My teams objective was to re-engage with these customers to understand the overall reason they either stopped buying from us or significantly decreased their spend with us YoY. After discovering the root cause our goal was to increase their spend and current market share with us. Every account manager was individually responsible for 80 - 160 customer accounts in their specific state/area. The region covered 7 states, (CO, UT, ID, WY, SD, ND MT), each state was broken down based on optimal coverage. The account managers were responsible for meeting their individual sales objective for that quarter. All on my account managers individual sales objectives were then rolled into one large regional objective I was personally responsible for meeting.
Strategic Account Manager -Greater Denver Area
Strategic account manager responsible for the majority of our commercial customer base in the state of Colorado. My territory coverage extended to all the major cities and everything north of Pueblo, CO. The customer base assigned to me changed over the years slightly, but my account coverage ranged from 80 - 165 customers quarterly. The commercial division evolved and grew many times over my career as an account manager. As a successful account manager I was rewarded and grew within the division as well. After continued success meeting sales objectives in a receding economy I was awarded with my next promotion to Regional Sales Manager in Acquisition.
