I've been working in the taxi trade with City Cabs since 2007 and during that time I have seen the company grow at a phenomenal rate, going from 350 vehicles to now having over 440. I'm a creative individual with a drive and determination to succeed. Having been 'thrown into the deep end' and made Marketing Manager at City Cabs I've found that I've taken to the role with ease. Having previous experience in the taxi trade helped make the transition from Accounts Administrator to Marketing Manager a smooth one. My first big challenge was building a brand that was recognisable and consistent across the board for the company. This included a logo change/upgrade.As manager of City Cabs marketing and advertising it is my job to;• develop and maintain a marketing strategy• manage a strict budget• make the company brand a recognisable one• liaise with different account managers regarding advertising opportunities • use different advertising methods to reach various target markets• liaise with designers and printers• manage all Social Media sites• maintain company website and update regularly

I worked in the busy accounts department of City Cabs and had the task of managing a few of our biggest accounts including the BBC as well as the Edinburgh Council Taxi Card Scheme. Duties included Invoicing and general maintenance of the City Cabs customer accounts I was also responsible for designing any booklets or newsletters that the company dispatched.
