There's a running joke in my family that the first sentence I ever said was, "I gotta go." Not only my first, but maybe the only thing I ever said when I was young. The reason for saying this single phrase was my family was always on the move, and we were always involved in many different activities and events. I guess you could say I was well-rounded, and I still am.Today, I'm still "on the go". When I'm not working as an R&D engineer, I volunteer my time tutoring and coaching on the side. If that's not enough, I'm involved in personal training and playing intramural sports. All of these activities keep me engaged in many facets of life.As a professional, the one adjective that best describes me is "versatile". I have experience in academia and industry, aerospace/mechanical and medical device engineering, and many different engineering applications (design, modeling, programming, imaging, and testing). Knowledge is power, and I’m hungry for any more challenges that lie ahead.
