In this position I was able to gain valuable experience of helping run tournaments with over 100 teams involved. Event planning, crisis management, and versatility were just a few of the components required to make the tournament run smoothly. The operation side of this tournament required long days of over 15+ hours.

I was assigned a field where I would keep a scorebook for each game played. I was in charge with communicating with each team, the umpires, and my supervisor to make sure everything was in order and to make sure the game would start on time. I also worked with the USA Baseball scouts in their efforts to pick players for the national team. I would give statistics and my own personal opinions on players and communicate with them about specific players they were interested in.
