CurrentWork as part of the Energy Portfolio team to schedule and dispatch resources to meet Tri-States 42 Member load requirements in the most reliable and economical way possible. •TSGT operates in both the SPP WEIS and CAISO WEIM imbalance markets to economically dispatch resources in a 5-minute interval • Balance the system position and schedule generation based on the most economical solution on a Day-Ahead basis• Submit energy resource bids for generation resources within SPP WEIS to the SPP Market User Interface and resources within the CAISO WEIM to SIBR - utilize Adapt2 for both processes • Trade Power bilaterally with WECC counterparties based on system length or shortness• Manage Federal Hydropower resources and dispatch them accordingly • Communicate daily with generating facilities regarding unit availability and unit testing and enter and manage generation outages in both SPP CROW and CAISO OMS • Optimize existing transmission assets via energy scheduling processes• Purchase transmission from transmission providers, as required, to support energy transaction schedules via OASIS• Implement and manage the day to day activities regarding NITSonOASIS in accordance with FERC Order 890• Prepare tags for purchases, sales, and other schedule transactions within required industry standard timelines• Confirm pre-scheduled hourly net scheduled interchange with Balancing Authorities prior to data transfer to Real-Time operation• Ensure compliance with all applicable FERC, NERC, and WECC regulations, reliability standards and business practice standards
