5th year in Engineering Mechanics and Aerospace at UW Madison. I have an extensive background in rocket propulsion, fluids and thermodynamics, mechanical design, and project leadership. I'm extremely passionate about engineering and aerospace, having led UW's Aerospace student org involving several years of rocket competition experience and propulsion research and development.As president and outreach coordinator of WISP (formerly AIAA UW-Madison), I have been a part of several projects:- Leading UW's first team to attend the Spaceport America Cup intercollegiate rocket competition- Advising our second team at Spaceport where we won 2nd place in Payload- Design, assembly, and testing of a GCH4/GOX torch igniter- Research & development of a liquid bi-propellant Isopropanol/N2O 100lbf rocket engineAt UW-Madison I've worked in a number of positions:- Research assistant at Wisconsin Shock Tube Laboratory (WiSTL)- Research assistant at Andrews Electronics Laboratory (LPES)- Tutor & PrEPS facilitator at Undergraduate Learning Center (ULC)I keep myself busy outside of academics and extracurriculars with personal projects including designing & building a C3H8-Air rocket engine, building radio-controlled vehicles, self-hosting web and media servers, and amateur radio.
