WFH/Remote role.

Freight operations supervisor for Uniexpress, Derby office. Main responsibility is office supervisor for air, sea freight & special projects. Managing shipments from quotation through to delivery, quoting clients competitive pricing and following up through to booking process. This included RFQ management and quoting clients directly. Customer escalation point and account management, first escalation for any issues relating to air and sea freight. Main operational contact for day to day bookings by air and sea.

After a successful spell in operations I was promoted further to Team Leader for the International Department (ROW) at Amco, supervising all air, sea, road and rail freight shipments whilst building and maintains relationships with overseas agents and UK suppliers. Further duties included:Monitoring departmental KPI dataFirst point of escalation for clientsMaintaining and updating training and development plans for team members

Following the completion of my apprenticeship I was promoted to a full operations role handling international sea and airfreight from start to finish.
