With over 20 years of experience in the education sector, I am a passionate and skilled human-centered leadership coach who designs and provides transformative coaching for leaders and educators. My mission is to empower educators to create equitable and liberatory learning environments for all students and families. As a founding partner at Coaction Collective, I leverage my expertise in liberatory design thinking and appreciative inquiry to design and implement national programming and contracts for organizations and educators at all intersections of the PK-16 education space. In my current role, I also develop and implement family and community engagement vision, approach, and training for school districts and community partners. I represent Coaction Collective externally to build partnerships and programming needs. Previously, I was the Senior Director of Leadership Development and Capacity Building at Flamboyan Foundation, where I built capacity of K-12 school and district administrators to establish systems and structures to equitably engage all families in their child’s educational and socio-emotional journey. I also designed and co-created a school-wide sustainable family engagement rubric, The School Tool, using evidence from direct work with partner schools. I have strong skills in educational leadership, staff development, and teacher training, and I hold a Professional Administrator License issued by Portland State University.
