Created an automated regression test system using Lua, batch, and PowerShell almost from scratch, increasing testing from one to four systems running nightly and uploading results. Also helped work on legacy code base in C and C++ to improve performance as well as ensure the user interface met strict standards from different regulatory bodies.

I worked on improving the performance of hard-drives made for non-PC products like surveillance and video game systems.

I worked in the Test Development team of FIT-U (Functional Integrity Testing Unit) to help develop and maintain tests and scripts. We used an in-house, C-like scripting language and often communicate directly with the hard drive on a byte-by-byte level. Our tests were used to maintain the functionality of the drives as new features were developed and tested. In my position, I:- was the primary contact for one of our tests, meaning all changes must be approved by me- reviewed and was reviewed by my coworkers in code reviews- learned new programming languages- maximized the amount of content that was tested in an efficient manner- updated and improved other scripts on which I wasn't the primary contact

Aided the other Firmware Engineers with feature development and script development. I also took care of performance testing, hard drive conversions, drive movement, as well as program fixes and unit testing for my team.
