Currently a fourth-year Supply Chain Management and Operations major at Miami University (Oxford). I am also seeking a internship for the summer of 2025. In my career, I have worked in a variety job environments and industries such as government servicing, business, and agriculture. My experience in these fields have shaped me to become a well-rounded asset to an organization because of my ability to adapt to new work environments. Having been raised by two U.S. Army parents has taught me many valuable lessons that I employ in my professional career. Discipline and integrity have been instilled in me since I was a child because this is a common trait shared between my role models. These traits are valuable when it comes to careers. They cannot be taught once you get the job; you must walk into the onboarding process with discipline already built into your character. The life of a military household forces you to become adaptable and flexible. I have lived in Germany, Europe, and in five different U.S. states before settling down here in Ohio. Should a future position at an organization require me to pack up and move to start anew, I will be ready to make the transition. This lifestyle has given me a global perspective on how things are done and how they are done right. I have seen firsthand how something as simple as geography affects how things are done and how different processes are required to be successful in any given location. These differences in geography are crucial to someone in the supply chain industry because it affects how product gets around and what obstacles you have to strategize against in certain environments. I have had to keep these things in mind as I have moved to each new home over the years, so I will be sure to account for my surroundings. Working as government loan specialist has taught me how to successfully operate within a professional business environment where the clientele entrusts me with their respective financial information and business decisions. My experience as a delivery van driver has opened my eyes to the operations and groundwork level of supply chain management. This operations level experience combined with my managerial education that I am studying while at Miami University has given me a great understanding of this essential branch of business. My career timeline includes experiences in several work environments and industries. I am confident, now that I have experience in these industries, that I can quickly adapt and excel in any industry that gives me the opportunity.
