I represents the Malaysian distributorship in the engagement and development of project stakeholders for corporate nominated regional and global projects and collaboration with other regional KCS members of the division.

Smith International Gulf Services S/B (SIGS MY) is a subsidiary under the Oilfield Supply Center Ltd of Dubai and SMITH International Inc of USA which was first set up in year 2008 as their first gasket manufacturing facility in Malaysia to cater for the gasket and fluid sealing solutions market in the Far East region.I was the Sales Manager for SIGS MY responsible for the Sales, Marketing, and Contracts Management with main EPC Contractors and customers in selected countries in the Far East Region, with direct reporting to the General Manager.My main duties include being responsible for the business development, marketing and sales in the field of Fluid Sealing and Joint Integrity to predominantly the oil and energy sector. I am also tasked with responsibilities which include developing, planning and deployment of marketing strategies for both in-house manufactured products and traded products particularly for EPC contracts and expansion into other countries in the region, identifying and developing new market segments in line with the Group strategic directions and group synergies. Apart from being involved in the preparation of tenders and proposals, which include sourcing, cost estimation, scheduling and specifications qualifications, I also had the opportunity to develop and implement the procedures, framework and templates for contract documentations for all major EPC contracts.

Sam McCoy Manufacturing S/B (SMCM) is the manufacturing division of the Sam McCoy Group (now known as Xylem Water Solutions) which primarily designs and fabricates water and wastewater treatment products and solutions for the Asean region. SMCM supplies products and solutions on interesting areas covering iconic “River of Life” projects, flood mitigation, raw water harvesting and wastewater pollution abatement.I was the Marketing Manager for SMCM responsible for the expansion of water and wastewater products for Asean region, with direct reporting to Managing Director. I was also responsible in planning and execution of exhibition participations and product presentations, apart from identifying potential dealerships in the Asean region.My main duties and key accomplishments include:- Lead the Design, Supply, and Installations of Sam McCoy water level control gate systems for multiple sites for Greater KL Initiative Programme – River of Life- Positioning and differentiating company’s products to develop sustainable competitive advantage- Implementation of all marketing plans especially via 5P’s method – Product Management, Pricing, Place, People, Politics- Improvement of company’s reputation and product branding via new brochures, website, case studies, newsletters- Preparation and participation in various international exhibition including Hydropower & Dams, Asia Water, MPOB, Singapore International Water Week- Sales activities including quotations generation, product presentations especially to C-Levels, technical proposal and drawings, project implementation- Project management activities including BQ preparation, project planning, Gantt Chart, critical path analysis, S-curves
