Growing up in the 1990s and early 2000s, I was introduced to proto-social platforms like AOL Instant Messenger and message boards, followed by MySpace, where I taught myself HTML/CSS and, unwittingly, social media strategy. These early experiences laid the foundation for my career.Throughout school, I honed my skills in journalism, layout design, and photography. Moving to San Francisco for university, I further developed my web and design skills. This led to creating 49Miles.com, my first professional venture into social media and content marketing, where I documented explorations with hyperlocal guides.In 2019, I joined Salesforce to support social media for Dreamforce, the world’s largest tech conference.
