I lead the middle mile sort center HR team across FL. We lead the business with strong people strategy, risk mitigation, and a relentless focus on the employee experience.

Serving as the chief learning officer to all ops HR businesses in North America. PXT Academy serves over 10,000 learners globally, over 60% of which exist in NA. The PXTA NA team strategically plans with businesses in NA for learning and development needs while shaping and ensuring the voice of the customer is the center for all global content development. Role alignment across all business verticals in NA is a focal point and anchor for all capabilities based work.

In 2009 I became a commissioned Officer in The Michigan Army National Guard with an Aviation Battalion. I have served several roles in that organization to include Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, and Company Commander for several different organizations to include a flight and maintenance Company. I have served in the United States as well as in Afghanistan for two tours, 2012 and 2016. In my flight Company role I had the following responsibilitiesleading 28 to 62 Soldiers from multiple statesdesigning and executing training for the 26 flyers in the CompanySafely executing all missionsmaintaining my own flying proficiencyPerformance management for all Officers and NCOsresponsible for over $200 Million in equipment to include 7 helicoptersIn my maintenance Company role I had the following responsibilitiesleading over 100 Soldiersover 20 Million Dollars of equipmentscheduled and unscheduled maintenance for over 20 helicopters that spanned two different airframes and three different modelsTraining of all personnelPerformance management of all Officers and NCOsThroughout these leadership roles I have developed a deep passion for personal/professional development and building an organization from within.

I enlisted in the Michigan Army National Guard as a Field Artilleryman during my years as an undergraduate. I attended basic training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill, OK. I learned a new level of discipline and began a foundation in leadership from the bottom up. During my three years of enlisted time I gained an invaluable perspective of those I would later lead as a commissioned officer. During this enlisted time I enrolled in Officer Candidate School through the state of Michigan and began my path to greater responsibility.

I served as the Company Commander for a Heavy Lift Helicopter Company in Afghanistan. I was responsible for all Heavy lift and conventional assault forces across Afghanistan. I provided purpose, motivation, and direction to all Soldiers in my Company, leading them from multiple tactical control regions in Afghanistan. We very successfully served as the choice asset for special operations while providing the only supply operations in various regions. Our family of Soldiers accomplished more missions with fewer assets while spread out in a manner never previously attempted gaining a 100% mission success rate and flawless safety record.

I am currently working for the Full-Time MBA Admission office in the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management. My responsibilities encompass handling all on-campus prospective student interactions and military initiatives. I am the first contact that prospective students have with the Admissions office and pair all prospective students with current students that have similar backgrounds or concentrations for their visit. I also schedule all interviews and act as the first responder to questions pertaining to the program received from the program's website. Military initiatives is designed to recruit current and past military members through my own military experience and program outreach.

Gathered and synthesized best practices from all geographies, businesses, functions, and idea generators related to creating and fostering networks of leaders towards the establishment of leadership communities. Worked collaboratively across the globe positively impacting all of Dow. Analyzed the ability to leverage the unique and successful practices that exist in pockets around the world to the broader Dow community while exploring potential new options and tools to connect leaders in order to solve business issues and aid in career advancement.Successfully launched a pilot program for a learning reinforcement and behavioral change tool.Worked with Harvard Business Publishing on their developmental program's best practices and how they impact the leadership philosophy at Dow. Best practices were established and communicated while new HBP products were analyzed to meet identified developmental needs.leveraged my military background in workforce planning through recruiting and diversity & inclusion by laying the ground work for a veteran’s affinity network.

I worked as a policy analyst as a part of an internship program. My areas of focus for the Bay Area Council were in housing developments, public transportation, and private sector job creation in the Bay Area. I developed policy briefs, gave presentations based on my findings and participated in key meetings between state and local politicians and local business leaders.
