Interval Press is a partnership with 4 full-time graphic designers who love to sometimes step away from the computer and get some ink on their hands. We are a screen printing studio with a passion for reviving the lost-art-of-the-gig-poster. We enjoy creating unique posters and prints that support the local music and art scene. Our work has been featured at several local galleries, music festivals, as well as in national publications including Communication Arts. We have also been engaged in the community by offering screen-printing demonstrations in various venues. We have also planned and hosted CMND SHFT, a one-day design Conference, for 2 consecutive years. Interval Press has residency at at Verge Center for the Arts in Sacramento, CA.

Developed and communicated strategic direction to designers for a variety of branded design projects across multiple industries and company sizes. Provided regular feedback and critique to arrive at final deliverables that impressed and retained valuable clients. Also worked closely with vendors, including overseeing and directing medium-scale shoots to ensure the success of a project. Responsible for establishing a Graphic Design Internship within the company.

Specialization in brand strategy, concept development and implementation, responsive web design, user experience (UI/UX), corporate presentations, extensive print campaigns and project management. Worked closely with a wide variety of clients and industries that range in size while gaining experience working on both B2B and B2C branding & design projects.

Engaged in a diverse scope of contracted work over the years as a freelance designer, including brand identities, large scale event campaigns, miscellaneous print collateral and digital graphics for social media and web applications.

Full range of duties from concepting to design to production for various branding campaigns that promote on-campus events and programs. These include printed collateral in various formats, logo design, motion graphics, environmental signage, web graphics and vendor support. Mentor and Art Director to a team of student intern designers.

I've taught the upper division GPHD 150 portfolio class at Sacramento State (the exploration and development of the student's online and physical portfolio), guiding senior level students in creating a personal brand, developing a strong portfolio of work, and preparing for a full-time career in graphic design.

Concept development and design for print and web projects. One of my major contributions during this internship was several marketing materials for the Commission's Go Solar Campaign, which promotes solar technology in the residential sector.

Worked on a team of designers on various promotional print pieces for fine arts events and programs at Sacramento State University.
