I am currently a Senior Financial Analyst working in the healthcare industry and continuously learning more about this complex area of business every day. Any given day I can find myself forecasting, doing financial analysis for current and future clients, accounting, and even some HR which makes for well-rounded experience!In the U.S. Navy, I was and analyst of defense industry, international relations, geo-politics, and foreign policy with 9 years of relevant experience in United States Intelligence Community to include the National Security Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency, Pentagon, and United States Navy Special Warfare teams.I have trained and worked in dynamic environments both in the United States and abroad on cyber defense, tactical military intelligence planning and operations, strategic analysis, and intelligence collection. I found passion in creating tailored products by aggregating reports from multiple intelligence disciplines and using critical thinking to develop assessments used to inform senior leadership, mitigating the level of risk in their decision-making process. Working in challenging and demanding settings is where I do my best work and feel the most excitement. I thrive when put into a situation which requires a steep learning curve. Seeing the results of my work is what gets me going.Passing on my experience through demonstration is my favorite way to lead.Being resourceful is my best method to overcome challenges.My time in the military has taught me equipment and technology will often fail you, but your teammates will not. Optimism, confidence, and the will to win is how I operate because it I have seen it inspires others to adopt the same characteristics.Outside of work, I enjoy anything that gets me outdoors: running, hiking, camping, and fishing. I absolutely love playing and watching hockey, weightlifting, playing disc golf, and collecting sports memorabilia.
