I am an environmental planner with the U.S. Forest Service’s Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. In my current role, I support the Forest Service’s mission to, "sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the nation’s forests and grasslands to meet the needs of present and future generations" by facilitating multiple-use and sustained yield land use planning across our office's jurisdiction. More broadly, I am an environmental professional who is passionate about bridging quantitative analyses with on-the-ground environmental outcomes. I have a M.S. in Conservation Ecology and Sustainable Development. My master's research focused on spatio-temporal trends in decentralized wastewater treatment infrastructure maintenance and what those patterns may mean for our waterways and communities.Throughout my education and work experiences, I have grown a particular interest and aptitude in geospatial methods and am familiar with Esri products as well as the QGIS environment. Much of my background is in environmental field assessments and participatory resource management. However, I continue to seek additional skills in project management, implementation assessment, and leveraging systems-level decision making.
