- Currently designing a two stage, 15-foot solid propellant rocket with a Sorbitol-Potassium Nitrate grain capable of reaching 30,000 feet and Mach 2.2, with goals of competing in the Spaceport America Cup. - Conducted R&D on material and design decisions for the staging mechanism and avionics bay by running simulations within SolidWorks to assess strength and stress limits.- Created preliminary design reviews (PDR’s) to technically assess if the current staging mechanism and avionics bay design is operationally effective to withstand heat and external forces.- Currently researching material and design decisions for body tube and bulkheads and designing 3D-printed prototypes for the AV bay.
