• Responsible for the effective management and operation of town owned recreation facilities (swimming pool, arena, curling rink, outdoor rink, municipal parks, sports grounds, Quill Lakes International Bird Area tourism and interpretive center and a 22 site regional campground)• Manage all town run recreation programs (The Wynyard Summer Kidz Program, Forever in Motion Fitness Classes, The Walking Club, Aquafit, swimming lessons & The Wynyardigans after school program)• Re-opened the towns curling rink and revived the sport of curling in Wynyard. This included receiving provincial and federal grants to cover the cost of renovating the facility and installing a new ice plant. • Actively working with engineers, contractors and professional fundraisers on building a new multimillion dollar mutli- use recreation facility• Developed and run a new user friendly town of Wynyard website• Installed and run a L.E.D Video Sign board which advertises local events and is used for movie nights in the summer. • Participate in bi weekly town council meetings by presenting a report and advising council on decisions. • Actively involved in the Town’s budgeting process.

• Prepared, organized and lead several seminar courses for first year honours students • Aided students to overcome obstacles and reach goals by adapting teaching styles to match student learning styles• Responsible for grading student research projects and tests appropriately
