Strategically designed business plan to achieve long-term project objectives. Effectively managed all resources to ensure maximum efficiency in planning, forecasting, and allocation. Supported global capacity building through dissemination of knowledge. Evaluated commercial viability for new revolutionary technologies. Drilled and completed 3.4km deep injection well and smart observation well. Directed multi-year projects including: 3D3C and VSP seismic surveys, groundwater and soil gas sampling, InSar/tiltmeter/GPS monitoring, electromagnetic surveys, downhole well logging, digital temperature sensing fibre optics, digital acoustic sensing fibre optics, microseismicity, surface and borehole gravity surveys, geological models, reservoir simulations, risk assessment, evaluation and mitigation programs.

Managed the Saskatchewan CO2 Oilfield Use for Storage and EOR Research Project (SaskCO2USER) an International collaboration between Canada and USA. Responsible for technical oversight and financial management of advanced applied research for commercial applications to increase efficiency of CO2-EOR operations, limit liabilities and risks during operations. Results have informed prospective operators, government regulators and service providers on safe and effective use of CO2 for enhanced oil recovery.

Liaised with International oil company to design and develop a funding proposal for the SOLVE Project, an alternative and environmentally friendly process to extract oil from bitumen. Project was successfully awarded $10million.

Managed the $40 million Joint Implementation of Vapour Extraction (JIVE) project including development of investment proposals, technical oversight and financial management. JIVE project was designed to evaluate the potential of the solvent vapour extraction to unlock stranded heavy oil deposits. Utilization of propane, butane or CO2 as an alternative to steam produces an environmentally friendly process to enhance heavy oil recovery.

Provided project management and engineering support for the $80 million IEAGHG Weyburn-Midale CO2 Monitoring and Storage project. Assisted with development planning for 50 R & D projects and 100 scientists. Implemented several reporting tools, document management, financial reporting and deliverable tracking. Managing editor for integrated results published in volume by International Energy Agency Greenhouse Gas technical conference.
