I currently live in Silverthorne, CO and have lived in Summit County for over three years. I moved to the Rockies from Tennessee for the unbeatable views and endless outdoor activities. When I'm not working, you can find me outside skiing, trail running, hiking, playing disc golf, camping, and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer. My goals are to live and work in Summit County while connecting with the community and making a difference in the place I love to call home. I hope to bring my experience in general management, my leadership skills, my work ethic, and my curiosity to the the mountains of central Colorado and to be an asset to my employer and town.I'm an analytical and hard-working manager that leads by example by getting my hands dirty and being proactive to help or improve any situation. One of my most valuable aspects to any business is that I'm constantly thinking and acting like an owner. I make decisions based on the highest good for the business and its objectives. Currently, I work in Summit County as an account manager for one of the largest distributors in the state. I work with our local and large businesses to maintain their inventory based on the fluctuating seasons, sell in new products that bring value to both the business and their customers, and build programming to increase sales and visibility of our brands in the mountains. I've also worked as a general manager at a craft beer store and bar in Nashville for nearly six years. I ran many of the day-to-day tasks and worked alongside my team to provide exceptional customer service and to accomplish goals both big and small. Before that I worked in many different fields including working as a certified nursing assistant, running an online shop, developing an osteology course for the University of Texas, resource management for the National Park Service, a leasing agent for an apartment complex, and a tutor for children. I believe that my curiosity of the world and interest in many different areas can allow me to work in just about any industry given the opportunity.
