Contract role with Screenmedia to work as an Agile project manager and senior developer for a large client project spanning an IOS, Android and web application requiring delivery on a tight schedule and to a high standard. The project included working with Xamarin for cross-platform development - shared libraries between IOS, Android and the web. The web project used ASP.NET MVC and Knockout JS, with WebAPI for consuming the clients API services - which were developed in tandem; the phone projects used Xamarin and MVVMCross as their platform and framework. This role included managing the outputs of a team of both permanent and contract developers, onsite as well as offsite - using an agile methodology and bi-weekly sprints; client management and interaction with external teams spanning the globe. Web deployments were made to AWS during the sprints with the end production environment being deployed to Azure. The contract was originally for 3 months which the client then extended further.
