I am excited to announce that I will be starting as Chief Executive Officer at the University for the Creative Arts Students’ Union in November 2024.

From November 2024, I am privileged to be joining the RADA Anti-Racism Subcommittee and the RADA Training Subcommittee.

Phosphoros Theatre was founded in 2015 and is an award-winning, industry-leading company, focused on amplifying refugee voices and bringing them to the main stage. We make socially engaged performance with, for, and by refugees and asylum seekers. We make and hold space for those with forced migration backgrounds to voice, reflect on and respond to their lived experience, taking charge of the narratives that seldom include their perspective. We create nationally touring productions, deliver one-off and regular arts work with refugees, train professionals and provide paid work, training and development opportunities for refugee artists and youth workers.

Stepping Up (Level 2 Certificate for young people who have experienced barriers to arts education) and Emerge (employability programme for 16-25 year olds at risk of social exclusion).

Playing Up is an OCN Level 3 accredited nine month drama training programme, offering you the opportunity to gain an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Theatre Arts, which is equivalent to 2 ‘A’ Levels. This intensive theatre training course has been running for 10 years and has had an 85% success rate of moving young people into employment, further education or training.

Selected as a member of the competitive Re-UP! programme, a transformative initiative designed to empower creative leaders in exploring Restorative Leadership, fostering practices of support, care, and communal growth. Through workshops and embodied and creative activities.

Selected as a member of Space for Change, a peer learning group bringing together creative learning leaders across the sector to share and develop practices while addressing current challenges facing the industry. This selection was made through my role as the Head of Accredited Programmes at The National Youth Theatre.
