As a student at The Ohio State University studying Health Information Management and Systems, I am passionate about the intersection of healthcare, data management, and technology. Through my time in the HIMS program at Ohio State, I have developed a strong foundation in medical coding, data analysis, healthcare systems, and health information technology. These skills are preparing me to contribute to the technologically-evolving healthcare industry. In addition to my studies, I currently work at Abercrombie & Fitch as a Brand Representative Lead, with experience as a Part-Time Keyholder as well. Through these experiences I have gained valuable experience in leadership, customer relations, and team management. My role involves creating a seamless in-store experience for customers, driving sales, and contributing to Brand Representative training. These responsibilities have strengthened my organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.I am excited to bring my work experience and growing expertise in health information management into a healthcare setting, where I can contribute toward ethical and efficient management of health data to improve patient outcomes.
