Current• Record patient’s chief complaints and transcribe patient-provider communication via EMA during patient visits• Assist providers with procedures including biopsies, intralesional injections, ED&Cs, and surgical excisions• Triage patient’s nurse visit needs, including wound checks, suture removals, staple removals, pregnancy tests, lab work, and patch testing placement• Experienced in phlebotomy and localized anesthetics • Facilitate communication between patients and providers via phone call, e-mail, and fax to ensure all patient care concerns are addressed and understood, as well as to relay patient results• Maintain procedure, biopsy, and KOH prep logs according to company standards• Initiate and complete electronic prior authorizations for patient medications • Schedule patients on EMA according to provider’s preferred scheduling template• Ensure all required measures for MIPS are recorded and completed • Sterilize instruments daily using appropriate germicidal agents, ultrasonic cleaner, and autoclave • Stock patient rooms daily to ensure that the appropriate supplies are readily accessible from patient-to-patient• Clean patient rooms at the beginning and end of the day, as well as between patients, to meet OSHA standards
