CurrentAUGUST 2014 – PRESENT ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST, CENTRAL DERMATOLOGY CENTER • Responsible for day to day operations of our satellite office in Cary• Responsible for being support for the other front staff in the office• Making sure the office is open and closed everyday • Calling patients to change appointments when providers have conflicts in their schedules • Greet and check-in patients and collect personal, medical and insurance information • Making sure new patients have completed paperwork accurately • Collect patient co-pays and communicate outstanding balances to patients • Answer multi-line phones and doing task from helping patients schedule, reschedule and cancelling appointments and taking messages from patients for their providers • Schedule drug rep lunches with our providers • Communicate with patients and other doctor’s offices to coordinate referrals • Use EMR software to manage patient records and files. Use the software NexTech for cosmetic scheduling and ringing up products • Perform clerical work such as copying, faxing, emailing etc. • Schedule MOHS procedures for patients • Go to the bank to get change • Doing day-end paperwork making sure everything balances everyday
