Kynam joined as a Cyber Prevent and Protect officer in June 2023, which has allowed him to focus on developing specialised knowledge in the cyber world whilst continuing in his role as a warranted Police Constable. Kynam’s focus is on providing information, tactics and advice on issues surrounding Cybercrime, in an effort to reduce the number of people affected it in the region, where cyber-dependant or enabled. Cyber Prevent is part of an early invention scheme called ‘Cyber Choices’ and the ethos of prevent is to help individuals who are showing signs of drifting into criminality to use their skills in a positive way, rather than for committing Computer Misuse Act offences.As part of the Cyber Protect network, Kynam will deliver tailored ‘Protect’ advice to local businesses, schools and general public. Kynam also provides one to one support for victims who have reported Cyber Crime through the Action Fraud process. I run the games at the most immersive escape room venue in the UK and aid in the rooms design and creation/maintenance. An escape room or locked room puzzle is a real-world, physical game featuring challenges, riddles, and mysteries to solve within a time limit. Work as a team to break out of our themed escape rooms, which are brought to incredible life with immersive set design, special effects, sound design, and carefully selected props-many of which we have designed and built ourselves.
