I am the Science Department Head and Educator at Learning Foundation and Performing Arts Gilbert, a charter school that offers a comprehensive and innovative academic program for students in grades 9 to 12. With a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Mississippi Valley State University, and a current study in Educational Leadership and Administration at Grand Canyon University, I have over six years of experience in teaching and leading in various educational settings, from elementary to high school.In my current role, I lead a team of teachers in developing and delivering engaging and rigorous science curriculum that incorporates hands-on experiments, project-based learning, and technology integration. I also teach science courses in earth science and chemistry, inspiring students to explore and appreciate the wonders of science. I have strong skills in curriculum design, conflict resolution, team leadership, and communication, and I am passionate about providing high-quality and inclusive science education that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in the next generation of scientists and citizens. My mission is to empower students to achieve their academic and personal goals, and to prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
